For the test:
- 1 cup flour
- 100 g butter
- 1 egg,
- 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sugar
- a pinch of salt,
- grated zest of one lemon.
- 700 g apples
- 50 g butter
- 4 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar.
Mix flour and softened butter until a homogeneous consistency is obtained, add salt, sugar, lemon zest, egg. After kneading the dough until smooth, put it in a plastic bag and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Melt 50 g butter in a frying pan, add 4 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar and burn, stirring until bronze. Remove skillet from heat and refrigerate. Peel the apples and cut into thin slices. Place the slices on the bottom of the pan in a circle so that each next one overlaps the previous one. Place the remaining slices evenly at a height of 3/4 of the pan. Roll out the dough into a circle with the diameter of the pan. Using a rolling pin, transfer it to the apple layer. Fold the edges under the apple layer. Bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes. Then remove the cake, cover with foil and put in the oven for another 25 minutes. After removing the pie from the oven, turn it over onto a platter.
