Кедровская Рут
שלום, שמי קדרובסקיה רות! אני מצייר ציורים מותאמים אישית על נושאים יהודיים
I have been on the path of art since childhood. Art school, then art and aesthetic lyceum. As a child, I received a grant under the program "Gifted Children of Russia" in the nomination "Fine Arts". I have won international competitions and currently sell my paintings all over the world. At the Hebrew University "Mahon Chaya Mushka" (Mahon Hamesh, Moscow) I received a secular and religious education. In 2022, I received a red diploma in design and set off on a free voyage. 7 years ago, I ended up in the Jewish community of Moscow, and the warmth with which I was received greatly influenced and changed me. My Jewishness responded to me, and I felt that this was my place. So gradually I came to full observance My life is very connected with Judaism, and this greatly influenced my work. I am fascinated by the opportunity to reveal the inner world of a person through his appearance in a portrait. The most inspiring theme of my paintings is portraits of the righteous. It is no coincidence that I consider this topic to be one of the most important in my work. When we look into the face of a righteous person, we see his righteousness and thus connect with it. There is also a famous phrase, "Let your eyes see your teachers." Many Jewish families have a portrait of their Rebbe, their teachers, spiritual mentors. And looking at the picture, we remember his teaching, connection with the spiritual principle, and thus a Jew is strengthened in faith and the fulfillment of the commandments. I managed to paint pictures for followers of the Hasidic direction, the Chabad direction, a portrait of the Hafetz Chaim for followers of the Lithuanian direction, as well as images of Baba Sali and other great righteous people and rabbis. I also painted for famous Jewish figures, politicians and the chief rabbi of Russia. My painting "Ruth" was depicted on the cover of the magazine "Conversations for Jewish Women of Body and Soul." The magazine "Mitzvah Magazine" also wrote about my work. In November 2022, a conference and my exhibition were held in Izhevsk as part of the World Day of Jewish Education. I think that art can change one's worldview and how one perceives the world. So use every opportunity to touch the magical world of art!
